Half Term Information Summer 1 2026

This half term, we have been learning all about London. We can now give you a lovely guided tour around the city, sharing all the facts we have learnt about famous landmarks. The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in our London WOW Day, where they baked scones, made red telephone boxes, wrote postcards and used Lego to build Tower Bridge.
 
In Science, we have been learning about local wildlife. We explored different habitats and thought carefully about the types of animals that live in Cambourne.
 
In Maths, we have been learning about fractions. We found halves and quarters of both numbers and shapes, and we now know that each part must be equal. We also recapped position and direction, using words such as forwards, backwards, left, right, over and under to guide a partner through an obstacle course.
