PE at Monkfield Park:
Physical Education (PE) at Monkfield Park Primary School plays a vital role in developing healthy, confident and resilient children who enjoy being active and achieving their personal best. Rooted in The Monkfield Way, our PE curriculum promotes physical competence, teamwork, respect and perseverance, enabling all pupils to participate, succeed and most importantly develop a lifelong appreciation of physical activity. Through our use of the Complete PE scheme, we take a holistic approach to physical education, focusing on the development of the whole child through the interconnected principles of Move, Think, Feel and Connect. PE reflects our commitment to inclusion, personal development and ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively.
